Focus on revitalization of our Village Center.
Make the tough decisions and not abstain on important votes.
We are in very difficult economic times. The CA Budget effects all of us. As your representative, I will focus on saving costs and making the most effective investments for the benefit of the Community.
Bring civility to the CA Board and treat the CA staff with respect.
There have been too many reports of uncivil behavior by CA Board members towards each other and towards the staff. This behavior distracts from the important work that needs to be done. Staff members work hard and are dedicated to their community and deserve to be treated with respect.
For over 30 years, I have been a civic and business leader and philanthropist. I have been both a member of the CA Board of Directors and a member of the executive staff. I know the Columbia Association and how to make it work better.
I came to Howard County first as Director of Early Childhood Education in Columbia. Upon leaving CA, I became a respected and successful Realtor and a member of the Howard County Masters Club. My extensive civic work includes serving on the The Columbia Foundation Board of Directors and on the Board of Directors of Family and Children’s Service of Central Maryland at the Family Life Center. I am a founder and past chair of the Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County.
My 33 years of local real estate experience and prior work at Federal, state, and municipal levels in housing and economic development has equipped me well to advocate for Wilde Lake's redevelopment in a sustainable economic and environmental model.
